Liberty empowers us all with opportunities to love and support our neighbors – next door and across the globe – through voluntary cooperation. We need no approval from government or politicians, nor do we need to influence or change bureaucracy – we simply see others in need, and we act. Author and speaker Sarah Beckman is passionate about loving others well and about teaching people how to love others well in challenging times. In Episode 40, Sarah shares her stories and insights about embracing the power of liberty to help others in need – and about how such actions have positively impacted her life, her communities, and beyond!
As a speaker and author, Sarah Beckman inspires people from the stage and on the page. She shares her heart with audiences around the country by speaking on topics from “Loving your Neighbor” to “SAFEguarding Marriage” to “Digging up your Talents.”
In February of 2017, Sarah released a bestselling book called Alongside: A Practical Guide for Loving your Neighbor in their Time of Trial, which helps readers find practical ways to love people through their rough patches in life.

She ran multiple ministries, taught classes, led Bible studies, spoke for adult and teen events, and organized church-wide programs. She currently serves on the hospitality team at her local church.
Sarah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Advertising. While there, she met the love of her life, Craig. They’ve been married for 24 years and have three kids – ages 20, 18 and 16 – and have one big white dog named May. They now live in the mountains of Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Sarah savors family, friends, coffee, green chile, golfing, hiking and traveling.
