In this episode, Ross speaks with Daryn Allen about his passion for helping others live their best lives possible and the importance of scalability. Later in the episode, Ross speaks with businessman and capitalist Eric Hovde about how and why Eric is helping children in despair across the globe through his Hovde Foundation.
When Daryn started his senior year of high school back in 2002 weighing 291 lbs., he knew he had to make a change. In the course of losing 100 lbs., Daryn knew that he was changing his life – but he didn’t realize just how much. Daryn’s personal journey to physical fitness spawned a passion within him to help others get healthy and to live their best lives possible. After graduating from Winnona State in 2006, Daryn worked as a wellness coach and personal trainer. But the reality of trading hours for dollars didn’t sit well with him. He knew that if he was going to live his best life, and help others do the same, he needed to work for profits – not wages.
Daryn explored his options and eventually found AdvoCare. He was empowered by AdvoCare’s scalable business model to combine his passion for helping others with his desire to make profits. Today, Daryn runs his AdvoCare business full time in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin – and still has lots of quality time available to spend with his wife and two children.
