1. You may comment without registering.

Living The Pursuit encourages you to log in via Disqus, Twitter, Facebook, or Google, but you’re not required to do so. To comment as a guest, simply check the “I’d rather post as a guest” box after you enter your name (or pseudonym) in the “Name” field.

2. You may post as a guest using a pseudonym.

But don’t be a jerk. You will accomplish nothing by spewing hate while hiding behind a fake name. Make sure to review Comments Policy #6.

3. You may post questions.

Life is all about asking the right questions, so please – ask away! The more questions you post, the more engaging conversation we can have.

4. You may post your answers to other users’ questions.

This is obvious. If someone asks a questions, please throw your thoughts into the mix!

5. You may disagree with Living The Pursuit and its authors.

If two people agree with each other about everything, one of them isn’t thinking for himself or herself. We fully expect that you’ll disagree with aspects of our articles from time to time, and we encourage you to lay out your opposing argument. But keep it respectful. Read Comments Policy #6 for details.

6. Living The Pursuit reserves the right to delete, or simply not publish, your comments at any time.

This is our website. We have no obligation to publish your comments. The First Amendment protects your right to express your opinion on your own website, not ours. Follow the rules of this comments policy if you want your comments to be part of the conversation.

Specifically, we will delete, or not publish, your comment if you post something that is, in our sole opinion, (a) snarky; (b) off-topic; (c) libelous, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, profane, pornographic, offensive, false, misleading, or which otherwise violates or encourages others to violate our sense of decorum and civility or any law, including intellectual property laws; or (d) “spam” i.e., an attempt to advertise, solicit, or otherwise promote goods and services. You may, however, post links to other websites or news articles if such links are relevant to your argument and/or the conversation.

7. You retain ownership of your comments.

Living The Pursuit does not own them, and we expressly disclaim any and all liability that may result from them. By commenting on this site, you agree that you retain all ownership rights in what you post here and that you will relieve Living The Pursuit, its team members, and its associates from any and all liability that may result from those postings.
